Our flagship walking tour introduces you to the unique heritage of the Historic Third Ward in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You’ll hear tales of haunted history, ghost stories, Fortean folklore, and recent reports of paranormal activity (all documented through historical research, archival newspaperreports, and firsthand accounts). This tour is frequently updated with new information from ongoing paranormal investigations.
Join us for a nostalgic stroll through this charming art district once a rough and mysterious 19th Century ghetto known as the “Bloody Third.”
Tours are limited to small groups to provide patrons with the best possible experience, so booking in advance is the best way to guarantee your spot! Tours depart from the St. Paul Ave. and Water St. (in front of the Milwaukee Public Market, 400 N. Water Street, Milwaukee, WI) in the Historic Third Ward. In case it’s too rainy to be fun, we’ll have a cancellation announcement on the Facebook page 30 minutes prior to the start of the tour and we’ll refund your tickets back onto your card.
What to expect? Haunted history tours are not like Halloween haunted houses. No rent-a-ghouls have been hiredto jump out and startle you. However, if you’re captivated by local folklore, into Wisconsin legend tripping, a student of Milwaukee history, or just interested in sparking your imagination with strange tales about Milwaukee, this tour is for you.
